Send A Cow

Send a Cow runs sustainable agricultural programmes in seven countries in Africa to help small-scale farmers overcome poverty and malnutrition. We were founded in 1988 by a group of UK farmers who sent cows to families in post-conflict Uganda. Send a Cow is a Christian charity, which treats all people equally regardless of race, gender or creed. All those we work with undertake to pass on the benefits they gain, such as livestock and skills, to another family, so our work goes on multiplying throughout communities.
