Ethical policy

Science for Humanity is a new organization. We wish to establish an ethical basis for the work we undertake and to govern the way in which we operate.

A fully developed ethical policy will take a little time to establish and adopt appropriate governance and implementation mechanisms. In the meantime the above statement is made of our intent to work in ways, which are open and transparent.

We are aware that new science and new science-led technologies often raise, in the minds of individuals and communities, uncertainties and/or risks to people and/or the environment. Our ethical policy will establish guidelines and principles based on the ethical concerns of our key stakeholder groups.

From the beginning we aspire to use electronic media as a way of reducing the carbon footprint of our activities. We have chosen to host our web site using solar powered servers.
